    Posted by · May 15, 2019 5:49 AM

This training has limited space and will build off of previous trainings and workshops that take place over the full two weeks. The primary focus of this 4 day training will be to cover the basics in:

Blockades: Participants will learn essential skills for occupying space using technical tools and their own bodies with a focus on developing skills that will be useful in their broader activist communities.

Climbing: Participants will cover basic techniques, equipment, and procedures used by seasoned action climbers. Rope access principles, mechanical devices, and other climbing methods will be introduced. The concepts shared can be adopted by all those who integrate climbing, protest, and resistance. We will practice different scenarios involving banner deployments and aerial blockades.
