DC Area! Here is your 2020 Washington DC Pride reveal!

This years 2020 Pride theme is: #DefundMPD

In response to the continued terror that Black People face in DC Join @No Justice No Pride and community partners for a family friendly #DefundMPD themed pride celebration. This will be a Black and Centered space. We are working with partners to make this accessible and will be updating with those details as we get closer.

We will be meeting THIS SATURDAY AT 230PM at Blair Jessup Park (right near the Taco Bell/KFC off of Georgia Ave near the DC / Silver Spring MD border). 7701 Blair Rd Silver Spring, MD 20912 may be the best thing to put in your GPS.

Area Metropolitana de DC! Aqui esta la revelación de tu Orgullo de Washington DC 2020!

El tema de este ano es: #DesbolsarMPD

Como respuesta al terror continuo que el pueblo Negrx de DC se enfrentan, y la falta de integridad desplegado por el orgullo capital (CPA) — tres años después que cientos de activistas de No Justice No Pride (Sin Justicia No Hay Orgullo) apagaron al desfile del Orgullo Capital de 2017, demandando un Orgullo Libre de la Policía  —  NJNP más una coalición de grupos comunitarios con raíces en la abolición esta rechazando el liderazgo fallado de CPA, y estamos regresando el Orgullo a sus raíces. Una protesta contra la violencia policial.

Asista este Sabado — 230PM —  en el Blair Jessup Park para una marcha que centra a la comunidad Negrx y Trans, mientras DEMANDAMOS lo siguiente:

Desembolso del Departamento de la Policía Metropolitana (MPD)

Escuelas Libre de Policía

La decriminalization del Trabajo Sexual

Retiraron las acusaciones penales contra manifestantes

Un alto al Fianza en efectivo en Maryland

Ninguna Cárcel Nueva en DC y eliminar las prisiones

Una prohibición en la policía de “Parar y Registrar”
